Being Taught From My Betting Failures
First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the web or at a brick and mortar betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are bankrupt. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become sick in your gut and the harder you attempt the faster you lose.
When you notice that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this method almost never ever operates. Say you’re playing on slots, have an amount set to the side before starting your action. Don’t exceed that boundary, no matter how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a separate cup. Don’t spend your profits no matter what. Once you’ve played through your primary set limit, stop. Head out, whether it’s on the web or at a land based casino, do not stick around. Always remember, there will be another day, another time.
Remember, wagering should be exciting not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, don’t even start.
